    Learjet 25 Series Aircraft Information

    With the capacity for two crew members and eight passengers, the Learjet 25, is an American ten seat, twin-engined, high speed business jet aircraft. The empty weight is 7640 lb (3646 kg) and the maximum takeoff weight is 15,000 lb (6804 kg). The cruise speed is 464 knots (534 mph, 859 km/h) and the stall speed is 91 knots. The rate of climb is 6050 ft/min (30.7 m/s). Learjet manufactured the 25 as a stretched version of the Learjet 24.

    Variant models of include the 25A, 25B, 25C, Learjet 25D, 26, and 25G. The Learjet 25 is 4 feet 2 inches longer than the 24, allowing for three additional passengers. The Model 25 was introduced in November 1967. The aircraft is equipped with two General Electric CJ610-6 or CJ610-8 turbo Jet engines. The cabin can be converted for cargo and medevacs. The Learjet 25 has found a niche as a medevac aircraft with its easily converted cabin.
