Factory remanufactured engine (2004)-Continental IO-520, 285 hp. 2 cylinders and magnetos just overhauled 10/23. Crank and cam borescoped at that time and reported to be in great shape. Prop has 480 hours.
Painted in 1989, the light grey and burgundy scheme looks amazing for its age. We get compliments on it all the time. This plane has been hangered 95% of its life. New seats and carpet installed in 2023.
The 80 gallon (74 useable) fuel capacity allows for approximately 4-5 hours of flight time. The back seats are amazingly spacious and comfortable. This is a great cross country aircraft. The baggage area is surprisingly large and has a large weight capacity of 270 lbs. Note: this aircraft has a 1148 lbs useful load, however D'shannon makes a baffle kit that increases it to 1248 lbs. Aircraft is flown weekly. Times will change accordingly.
