1945 Stinson L-5E-1/OY-1 Sentinel For Sale - $60,000.00 AFTT: 2627.09 hours, 185 HP Lycoming O-435-1 TTSN: 2535.33, TSMOH: 408.86 (1200 hour TBO) Propeller TTSN: 119.96
It's time for the next caretaker of this piece of WWII history to take "Miss Molly" to her next chapter. Excellent low cost, entry-level warbird that is ready to go to her next air show! Current owner is an A&P/IA who has taken meticulous care of her. I have flown her from TX to OSH multiple times with no issues (9 hrs of flying and 4 fuel stops). 36 gallons of fuel, 12 gal/hr @ 105 MPH, 695 lbs. useful load. Annual just completed 7/3/2025. Garmin GTR-200B radio w/2 place intercom, GTX-335 Transponder with GPS ADS-B out, Garmin dual USB ports, Sentry ADS-B In. Original WWII radios installed (not functional), functional WWII recognition lights Scott 3200 tailwheel upgrade, Cleveland brakes, Airframe logbooks back to first flight in 1945. One of the 309 USAAF L-5's to be transferred to the Navy still flying. Was a flying test bed for arming L-5's with rockets at NAS Pax River.
