N110DG is a one-of-a-kind Pitts S1-X "Sunbird" prototype-built in 1990, refined in 2015, and engineered for the pinnacle of solo aerobatic flight. Crafted by Dick Green under the direction of Dan Rihn, this aircraft was designed for competition-grade performance and successfully completed a world-record 98-turn inverted flat spin from 24,500 feet. It features a 300 hp Lycoming IO-540 engine, a 3-blade MT aerobatic propeller, Sparcraft wings with zero dihedral, extended and hinged ailerons, (2) extra flying wires per side, inverted fuel and oil systems, and electronic ignition. The aircraft has 371 hours TTAF & Engine, 160 hours Since New MT Acro Prop, and has always been hangared in dry climates. It has no damage history and remains in outstanding condition.

It was designed to compete with the high performance monoplane up to the Ultimate category which it does well.
