Dassault Falcon 20 Aircraft Information
Manufactured by French Dassault Aviation, the Dassault Falcon is a family of business jet aircraft. Aircraft include the Falcon 10, Falcon 20, Falcon 30, Falcon 40, Falcon 50, Falcon 900, Falcon 2000, and the Falcon 7X.
The Falcon 20 was the first of the family of business jets built by French Dassault Aviation. The Falcon 20 has the capacity for 2 crew members and 8-14 passengers. The empty weight is 16,600 lb (7530 kg) and maximum takeoff weight is 28,660 lb (13,000 kg). Cruise speed is 405 knots (466 mph, 750km/h), stall speed is 82 knots (95 mph, 152 km/h), and maximum speed is 465 knots (536 mph, 862 km/h). The aircraft was manufactured from 1965 to 1988. The Falcon 20 was a long wing monoplane with two rear-mounted {Pratt & Whitney} JT12A-S engines.
Developments of the Falcon 20 include the smaller Falcon 10, the larger 30-seat Falcon 30 (not developed), and Falcon 50 with an improved three-engined development. The Falcon 40 was not built, but was a variant of the Falcon 30 for non-North American customers.
