Detailed Description

The Meyers 200 is the answer to anyone that needs a fast and comfortable plane for long cross country travel. Lots faster than a Bonanza with the same engine. Zero Airworthiness Directives on the airframe. And, it's the only High Performance Complex aircraft to never have had an inflight airframe failure.

This particular Meyers 200 has had extensive upgrades inside and out. The only thing you need to do is fly it!

All Meyers 200s were extensively corrosion-proofed at the factory so you will not see corrosion on these steel aircraft. Torque tubes instead of cables for the ailerons and elevator mean precise and very effective controls. Large, wrap around windows means you have excellent visibility in all directions. Small wing for greater speed, but large, semi-fowler flaps on tracks like a Cessna means that it stalls slower than most other high performance aircraft.

I'm selling this plane for a friend who recently lost his medical. I've owned two Meyers 200s and flown more than 20 of them. If you're worried about parts for a rare and unusual plane, don't be. I've got +1500 hours flying mine and others and I don't know any owner who's ever been stranded for a part they couldn't obtain. Ask me anything you like about them.

Airframe

This particular Meyers 200 has had extensive upgrades inside and out. The owner wanted a "new" Meyers 200, and he very nearly created it! The only thing you need to do is fly it! All logs are scanned and easily shared.

Engines / Mods / Prop

The current IO-520A and McCauley Prop were both installed new in 2017. The previous engine and prop were original to the plane and were old and tired.

Interior / Exterior

New interior and avionics installed in 2017.
New paint in 2020.
