Detailed Description

This is a beautiful factory built Light Sport Aircraft (SLSA) (N743J) that will do many things larger aircraft only dream of. This aircraft (N743J) was factory-built in 2011. This aircraft is a light sport with a full aircraft size feel with ADSB in/out, Auto Pilot, IFR ready, and the GRT Glass Cockpit with a synthetic vision capable of even setting the pilot up for landing with fully coupled approach technology. Synthetic vision provides intuitive terrain awareness. The highway-in-the-sky guidance for the synthetic approach delivers the sense of reality necessary to make any approach easier and more precise. The GRT also provides the pilot with synthetic approach capability. The synthetic approach mode provides lateral and vertical guidance to any runway contained within the EFIS navigation database, which includes position data for each end of the runway. This approach mode can be easily coupled to the autopilot and drives the flight director for easy-to-follow roll and pitch guidance. Synthetic vision provides additional awareness and is also essential for flying in mountainous areas, creating a natural sense of height above the ground, location, and direction of flight. 3-D way-points, obstacles, and runways make navigation simple and help protect you from the threat of towers. GRT allows for recording and playback of log files. Dual handle center mounted training control stick. Jabiru J3300A 6 Cylinder, 120 HP Gen 4 engine. Very clean inside and out. This J230-SP is lighter than many, with an empty weight of 832 lbs.

Avionics / Equipment

This aircraft (N743J) is equipped with dual Grand Rapids Technology (GRT) Avionics Glass, which brings Synthetic vision to the cockpit. Synthetic vision provides intuitive terrain awareness. This awareness is essential when flying in mountainous areas (obstacle alerting). Also, it creates a natural sense of height above the ground and the location and direction of flight. 3-D way-points, obstacles, and runways make navigation simple and help protect you from the threat of towers. Angle-of-Attack (AOA) Sensing and Stall Warning. The GRT shows obstacles and runways on the screen as they appear out the window, even without the synthetic vision. The highway-in-the-sky guidance for the synthetic approach still delivers the sense of reality necessary to make any approach easier and more precise.
Ten split-screen combinations are included, combining two or three views into one screen of the PFD, map and HSI, and engine monitoring. Information is clearly presented, making flying with a single screen and rarely touching a button practical. For dual-screen installations, the split screens provide a single-screen reversionary mode suitable for IFR flight.
The GRT glass provides more information, interfacing and redundancy. It allows for differentiating between engine problems affecting a single cylinder and those affecting the entire engine-potentially valuable data for making critical decisions. Dual GRT Avionics EFIS PFD, GRT EIS Engine Monitor, Garmin SL40 Com, Garmin GTX 327 Transponder, PM 1000 Intercom, Back up 2 1/2" Airspeed Indicator. ADSB in/out, traffic, weather, and obstacle alerting. TruTrack Digiflight llG 2-axis Auto Pilot.
