The KLN 89B is a panel-mounted, 8-channel, GPS-based navigation system with a pilot-updatable database. IFR-certifiable for non-precision GPS instrument approaches specified in TSO C129 A1, the KLN 89B offers en route, terminal and approach capability under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). A built-in moving map display provides user friendliness and pilot situational awareness.
