- Originally owned by Robert Hartzell of Hartzell propellers!
- No known damage history, all aircraft logs since new, and we have the original blueprints from 1945.
- Burns 4 gal/hr, probably the most economical tailwheel on the market today!
- 590 hours SMOH. Flies a ton (330 hours in the past 2 years!) but we won't be flying it much soon so we're selling it before it starts to sit.
- 578lbs useful load, 434lbs with full fuel tanks.
- Annual due January 2026.
- Started as a BC12D, upgraded by STC to a Model 19.
- Includes all but 1 known STCs available! Long-range fuel tanks (~6 hours), extended baggage, gross weight increase, SS hotpipes exhaust, baggage windows, mogas, upgraded air filter, and I'm probably forgetting some others.
- Extras included in sale price: wheel pants (not pictured), specialty Taylorcraft tools including landing gear bungee swap tool, ~$1500 worth of spare parts.
- Prebuys welcomed.
- Can deliver anywhere CONUS, probably Canada and Alaska too. Transition training can be arranged as part of sale.
Airframe
- Mechanically 10/10, fabric 10/10. No corrosion found, full airframe including spars in excellent condition.
- Recovered with the Poly-Fiber system.
- Always hangared since last fabric recover and overhaul, and for at least the past 21 years, so potentially it's been hangared much longer. We don't know the people who owned it before that.
